Positives
One specific new deal program that was very positive was the Civilian Conservation Corps. This program focused on not only provided jobs to the urban youth but also focused on conservation and reforestation creating national parks, planting, and irrigation.
Negatives
One specific new deal program that turned out negative was the National Recovery Act. This program cut back production and forced the wages of market workers above market level. This made it more expensive for employers to hire people. In result African Americans alone lost an estimated 500,000 jobs. This program was ineffective not only because of its results but also because the Supreme Court ruled it violated the separation of powers.
